4166 CORE+ Omni Flex Headset Microphone

The 4166 (Slim Capsule) Omnidirectional Flex Headset Microphone combine the legendary sound of the 4066 Omnidirectional Capsule with a lightweight and flexible headset system. This condenser mic is easy and fast to adjust and it offers clean and transparent sound quality with lots of headroom. The capsule itself is the same type as the 4066, but is attached to an interchangeable boom arm.

This microphone is available as an earset or headset. Headset variants sit more securely around the head and are ideal for active performance situations where the person wearing the headset won’t feel the presence of the microphone.

Two boom lengths are available to accommodate different applications and head sizes: 90 mm and 110 mm. The 110 mm is the standard choice for most users.

CORE+ is a revolutionary advance in microphone design that blurs the boundaries between the acoustically possible and the impossible. CORE+ is a technology that neutralises distortion across the entire dynamic range of the microphone so that any remaining distortion is imperceptible to the naked ear and virtually unmeasurable. By eliminating this residual distortion, sound engineers can easily and efficiently achieve a new level of sound clarity, creating an exceptional listening experience for the audience.

MicroLock®

The new MicroLock® is a reliable microphone connector with unlimited flexibility and reassuring reliability. It is considered a cost-effective solution that is compatible with many wireless systems via various adapters.

DPA Microphones has made MicroLock fully backwards compatible with the MicroDot connection. This means that MicroLock components can be assembled with MicroDot components and will function as if they were MicroDot type.
